The mission of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec is to make known, promote and conserve Québec art from all periods, from ancient to contemporary, and to ensure the presence of international art through acquisitions, exhibitions and other activities. This institution, located in the heart of the Plains of Abraham, promotes art in the capital and preserves a vast collection of significant works.
To achieve this, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec has relied on products from manufacturer Montel for decades to preserve and store its collections. From fixed shelving and bookcases to mobile storage units and picture racks, every type of product from Quebec manufacturer Montel can be found on site. As part of the construction of the new Pavillon Lassonde, our team designed a storage solution combining a variety of systems, including high-density sliding hanging panels for works ranging in size from the smallest to the largest.
